Daniel Bar-Lev
Director, Office of the CTO

As a director in the MEF’s Office of the CTO, Daniel is responsible for the development and implementation of a range of MEF programs that are central to MEF’s transformation to an agile-process oriented standards development organization including OpenCS, OpenLSO, MEFnet, LSO Innovation Platform, LSO Hackathon, UNITE and MEF’s Software Developer Community. These programs enable MEF 210+ member companies to implement both draft and published MEF service orchestration and definitions work in code, and to publish open APIs that are accelerating the availability of highly agile, assured and orchestrated services for today’s hyper-connected world.

Daniel has been involved in the networking industry for 25 years holding a variety of positions in RAD Data Communications, as well as co-founding Resolute Networks where he held executive positions and which he represented in the MEF, serving for 3 years as Global Marketing Co-Chair and being elected three times to the MEF Board of Directors. Since 2010, as a MEF staff member, he has been responsible for developing and expanding MEF’s very successful CE 2.0 Certification Program, MEF Certified Professionals Program, Ethernet Interconnect Points, UNITE collaboration program, and MEF’s SalesForce, Wiki and JIRA infrastructure.
